Data Safety and Anonymous Statistics Policy

This policy explains AutoLink’s data-safety commitments and how non-sensitive anonymized data may be used for statistics and future service upgrades.

1. Data-safety commitments

  • Access to operational data should be limited to authorized team members who need it for support, verification, dispute handling, security or system administration.
  • AutoLink will take reasonable steps to protect records from accidental loss, unauthorized access, misuse or unnecessary disclosure.
  • Users are responsible for securing their own devices, passwords, email/phone access and staff accounts.

2. Anonymous and aggregated use

AutoLink may analyze and retain aggregated or de-identified non-sensitive data to understand marketplace performance, improve matching, improve quote comparison, detect high-demand categories, identify underserved locations, improve app speed, reduce fraud and develop future services.

3. Data not used as public anonymous statistics

AutoLink will not intentionally publish or sell identifiable phone numbers, emails, personal names, company documents, VIN/chassis numbers, uploaded documents, support complaints, private request notes or exact personal transaction details as statistics.

4. Re-identification protection

AutoLink should avoid combining anonymized outputs in a way that makes a specific person, company, vehicle or transaction reasonably identifiable. If a user requests deletion, anonymized statistical records that no longer identify the user may continue to be used.
